Man Charged with Rape, Holding Girlfriend Hostage
Boyfriend kept woman in St. Marks Avenue apartment for four days by threatening her with a knife.

A 34-year-old man was charged with raping his girlfriend and holding her hostage in their St. Marks Avenue apartment by threatening her with a knife, according to authorities.
Over four days, the man forced the woman to perform oral sex and submitted her to other sexual acts. He also punched, slapped and scratched her in the face and body, police said.
The attack began the morning of Friday April 13. The woman got away on April 17 after she convinced her boyfriend to take her to the doctor, who saw her wounds and sent her to Kings County Hospital, said a spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.
