Man Found Dead Inside Crown Heights Apartment: NYPD

CROWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A man was found shot to death inside a Crown Heights apartment last Friday, police said.

On April 19, at about 11:40 a.m., officers responding to 1625 Eastern Parkway found a man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the face.

EMS responded to the location and pronounced the man dead, police said.

The man is believed to be in his 50s, according to a neighbor who spoke to the New York Daily News.

The identity of the man has not been released pending family notification, police said.

There have been no arrests, and an investigation remains ongoing.
