New Fulton Street 'Affordable' Housing Requires $70K Salary
The six apartments, found near the Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy border, just hit the affordable housing lottery.

BROOKLYN, NY — Apartments in a new building on Fulton Street have hit the affordable housing lottery, but only for those making at least $70,000 per year, records show.
The 1111 Fulton St. building — found near Claver Place near the Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights border — has six apartments up for grabs for those making 130 percent of the area median income.
That means those hoping to live in the two studio units should make at least $70,286 per year. Those interested in the one-bedroom spots should make $78,858 per year and those looking to apply for the two-bedroom units should make a combined $92,572, according to the listing.

The apartments will cost $2,050 in rent for the studio, $2,300 for the one-bedroom and $2,700 for the two bedroom spots.
The building includes a shared laundry room and bike storage lockers.

It joins several others in Brooklyn on the housing lottery, including a Willoughby Avenue building in Bed-Stuy, the latest development in Pacific Park in Prospect Heights and the affordable housing complex built on top of the new Sunset Park library.
The Fulton Street building will have applications open until Dec. 30, records show.
