New Prospect Heights Building Coming To Dean Street Vacant Lot
Someone tried to build a single family home here in 2013, but it seems like they never got off the ground.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A longtime vacant lot is being built on, years after prior efforts failed to get off the ground.
A four-story building with as many units is currently underway at 747 Dean St., near Underhill Avenue, according to city records.
The development is led by Elad Ben-Kimon, according to the permits, which also reveal that the building's four units should be family-sized, with nearly 2,000 square feet available per unit.

Currently, the project has a partial stop work order issued last week when building inspectors found that workers were unable to produce a FDNY torch user card nor a permit for flammable gasses after a complaint was made referencing unsafe flame operation.
In 2013, another attempt was made to build a three-story single family home on the lot, but it appears that the project never made it.
On Google Maps, what appears to be former construction materials appear in the back corner of the lot.
