Pair Stabbed To Death In Prospect Lefferts Gardens Robbery: NYPD

The man and woman were found on Winthrop Street.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS – A man and a woman were stabbed to death during a robbery at their Prospect Lefferts Gardens home Wednesday night, police said.

The man, 65, was found by police lying outside 263 Winthrop Street with multiple stab wounds after officers responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery at 6:41 p.m., the NYPD said. Inside the home they found a 59-year-old woman who had also suffered stab wounds.

The man, who police named as Stephenson Bonaparte, was taken to Kings County Hospital where he died, police said. The woman, identified as Hazel Brown, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Both victims lived at the address, police said. Nobody had been arrested as of 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
