Supermarket Manager Charged With 'Forcible Touching'

A 30-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a cop saw him driving without his headlights through Grand Army Plaza and onto Eastern Parkway. When they stopped the man, police said the driver was slurring his speech, was unable to follow directions and “did not know where he was,” according to a police report.
“He stated ‘I’m lost can you help me?’ and believed to be in Newark,” the report said.
After the arrest, cops discovered that the man had a suspended license and two previous traffic infractions. The arrest took place on May 23 at 10:45 p.m., the report said.

Marijuana and Crack Arrest
A 51-year-old man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a cop saw him holding a marijuana cigar in open view. Upon further investigation, cops discovered that the cigar also contained a substance that appeared to be crack cocaine. The arrest took place at 4:16 p.m. on June 7 on Lincoln Place at the corner of Classon Avenue.
Diner Theft
A 56-year-old man said someone grabbed his jacket from the back of his chair at Neptune Dinner, 699 Classon Ave. at St. Marks Place, and took off. In the jacket was the man’s driver’s license and social security card. The jacket snatch took place at 2 a.m. on Sunday, May 27.
