Police Identify Man Fatally Shot In Crown Heights

The victim has been identified as ​Byron​ Hollingsworth,​ of Crown Heights, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — The NYPD identified the 26-year-old man who was shot and killed in Crown Heights last month.

The victim has been identified as Byron Hollingsworth, of Crown Heights, police announced Monday.

The April 23 incident happened at about 4:09 p.m. in front of 105 Rogers Avenue, according to police.

When officers responded to the scene, they found Hollingsworth with gunshot wounds to the neck and torso.

The 26-year-old man was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
