Teenagers Attacked, Robbed In Crown Heights Robbery: NYPD
Two 16-year-olds were punched and robbed in Crown Heights Monday, police said. One was hospitalized.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Two 16-year-old boys were attacked and robbed by a group of people in Crown Heights on Monday, police said.
The crowd surrounded the two teens near Carroll Street and Albany Avenue about 9:20 p.m. Monday, according to the NYPD.
One of the boys was punched in the face and forced to empty his pockets, the other boy was punched in the head before the group ran away, according to police.

Medics took one teen to the hospital, but the other refused medical attention, police said.
The suspects were all described as males standing about 5 foot 6 inches tall, according to police.

Crown Heights Shomrim, a volunteer neighborhood patrol group, took to Twitter to share surveillance footage they said was taken during the incident.
It shows a group of four approaching two teenagers on the sidewalk, talking to them, seemingly hitting one and ultimately running away.
