The feature will regularly highlight a vacant building, storefront or structure. And we’ll leave it you to sound off on what you’d like to see there. 

This week we head to 820 Washington Ave., the former site of Calabar Imports. The imported clothing, gift, craft and art store shut down after the shop was badly damaged in the 2011 fire that partially collapsed a four story building next door at 816 Washigton. Calabar reopened last summer on Franklin Avenue. 

So what would you like to see inhabit the space? Another craft/art/clothing shop, or something entirely different?
