Everything you ever wanted to know about applying for affordable housing you can learn this Sunday, June 12, at the Co-Cathedral of St Joseph’s in Prospect Heights.

Starting at 1 p.m., the Mutual Housing Association of New York (MHANY) will be dishing out ”tips on how to correctly fill out and submit housing lottery applications.”

Mayor Bill De Blasio has promised to build 80,000 new affordable-housing units and preserve another 120,000 by 2024. So if you’ve been considering playing your hand in the housing lotto, now’s a good time to get schooled.
