Women Tied Up In Crown Heights Apartment While Men Took Cash
Police are looking for leads in connection with the break-in.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Three women were tied up in their Crown Heights apartment and covered with blanket while their intruders demanded and made off with over $1,000 in cash, according to police.
The NYPD on Thursday shared details from the terrifying incident, which happened earlier this year.
On Thursday, May 18, the women — 32, 20 and 18 years old — were inside the apartment, near Pacific Street and Buffalo Avenue, police said.

Around 5:20 early that morning, the men got into the apartment by breaking into a window that faced a fire escape, according to police.
The men showed a handgun, tied the women up and threw a blanket over them, demanding money, police said. They eventually made off with about $1,500 in cash, according to police.
