Young Men Punched, Robbed In Crown Heights: Cops

A crowd of robbers fractured a 16-year-old's nose in Brooklyn, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — A 16-year-old was punched in the face and injured during a Crown Heights robbery on Monday, police said Thursday.

Two 16-year-olds were walking near Albany Avenue and Carroll Street at about 9:15 p.m. Monday when they were approached by six men who demanded they turn over property, according to police. One of the 16-year-olds was punched in the face, a blow that fractured his nose.

There were no arrests Thursday, NYPD said. All six people fled into a residential building on Saint John's Place but did not take any property, according to police.
