1 Person Killed In Queens House Fire: FDNY

QUEENS, NY — One person was killed in a Queens house fire over the weekend, FDNY officials said.

The blaze started at a home on 221st Street and 110th Avenue near Springfield Blvd around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the FDNY said.

A man was found dead in a bedroom inside the home.

The fire was placed under control in an hour, the FDNY said.

The man's identity and age have been not been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
