QUEENS, NY — Two firefighters were injured while battling a house fire in Queens on Monday night.
The blaze happened at 18-32 Steinway Street in Astoria just before 7 p.m., FDNY officials said.
The fire seemed to have started on the roof of the residence, the FDNY said.

The blaze escalated to a 2-alarm incident.
The two firefighters were transported to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries.
