Queens Worker For ‘The Blacklist’ Indicted After Fatal Hit-And-Run: DA

QUEENS — A Queens man working for the television show "The Blacklist" was indicted on manslaughter charges Thursday after a Brooklyn hit-and-run left a grandmother dead, prosecutors announced.

Daniel K. Buckley, 67, was leaving the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where he worked as a truck operator for the NBC crime thriller series, on Nov. 28 about 5:45 p.m. when the crash occurred, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said.

The Queens man took the Kent Avenue exit, made an illegal onto Taylor Street, struck Leah Kohn, 59, then drove off with the wounded grandmother bleeding on the pavement, Gonzalez said.

Kohn died weeks later from her head wounds at Bellevue Hospital, officials said.

Buckley is scheduled to return to court on May 19, and faces up to five to 15 years in prison if convicted, the District Attorney said.
