Boy Shot In The Head On NYC Street, No Arrests Made Yet

QUEENS, NY — A 13-year-old boy was shot in the head in Queens Monday morning, police said.

The incident happened in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts located at 208-15 Linden Blvd.in Cambria Heights around 8:20 a.m.

Officers found the boy lying in the street when they arrived at the scene. The 13-year-old was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center in critical condition.

What led up to the shooting is not known at this time. No arrests have been made yet.

A description of a possible shooter has not been released.

An investigation remains ongoing.
