QUEENS, NY — A 47-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle as she crossed a street in Queens over the weekend.

Lucia Grant was killed when a vehicle struck her as she attempted to cross North Conduit Avenue on Nov. 23 around 6 a.m., police said.

The driver was traveling west on North Conduit Avenue.

The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The vehicle did not remain on scene. Police did not have a description of the vehicle as of Monday afternoon.

An investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad.
