Man Found Dead After NYC Apartment Fire: FDNY

QUEENS, NY — A fire in a Queens apartment left one man dead over the weekend, the FDNY said.

Firefighters responded to the fire around 7:15 a.m. on Sunday at a home on 190th Lane between 192 Street and 69 Avenue in Fresh Meadows.

The blaze was put under control within 30 minutes. The man's body was discovered shortly after, the FDNY said.
