Man Fatally Shot At NYC Apartment Building: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — A 50-year-old man was fatally shot at a Queens apartment building Thursday night, police said Friday.

The incident happened at 28-02 119 Street in Flushing around 10:27 p.m., police said.

Officers found the man unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the chest and stomach. The 50-year-old was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests and an investigation remains ongoing

The identity of the victim has not been released pending proper family notification.

A description of a possible suspect was not readily available.
