Men Yell Anti-LGBT, Xenophobic Slurs, Attack Queens Straphanger: NYPD
Four men punched, kicked, and tried to stab a 47-year-old man before stealing his cell phone on a Woodside subway station, police said.

QUEENS — Four men left a subway passenger injured at a Woodside station after they yelled homophobic and anti-Hispanic remarks at him last month, police said.
The NYPD is searching for the men that punched, kicked, and tried to stab a 47-year-old man before stealing his cell phone on a Queens-bound 7 train at 61 St - Woodside station on Feb. 17 about 10:20 p.m., authorities said.
The four men directed anti-LGBT and xenophobic slurs at the 47-year-old before attacking him, and they later attempted to steal his wallet before fleeing, police said.

The straphanger was taken to a local hospital and was treated for laceration wounds, the NYPD said.
All four men are between 25 to 35 years old, police said. The first man has long hair and was last seen wearing a tan coat, and a backpack; the second man has glasses and a beard, and was last seen wearing white sneakers and a blue coat, authorities said.

The third attacker was last seen wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, and gray dress pants, while the fourth man has a goatee and was last seen wearing a gray coat and gray pants, the NYPD said.
