New Donald Trump Accuser Says GOP Nominee Groped Her At U.S. Open

Karena Virginia on Thursday became the 10th woman to come forward recently and accuse Donald Trump of sexual assault when she recounted a story of the Republican presidential nominee touching her arm and breast while she waited for a car outside the U.S. Open in Flushing, Queens.

At a tearful press conference in New York City alongside powerful civil rights attorney Gloria Allred, Virginia recounted the story of Trump and a group of men approaching her outside the annual tennis tournament in 1998.

"Hey, look, at this one. We haven’t seen her before. Look at those legs," Virginia recalls Trump saying to the other men.

Then, she said, Trump grabbed her arm and touched her breast. When Virginia resisted his advances, she said Trump asked her, "Don't you know who I am? Don't you know who I am?"

She said nobody asked her to come forward with her story.

"In fact, many people advised me not to speak publicly about what Donald Trump did to me out of concern that I would also be attacked by him," she added.

Trump campaign deputy spokeswoman Jessica Ditto released a statement accused Allred, the attorney, of trying to pull a publicity stunt.

"Discredited political operative Gloria Allred, in another coordinate, publicity seeking attack with the Clinton campaign, will stop at nothing to smear Mr. Trump," the statement said. "Give me a break. Voters are tired of these circus-like antics and reject these fictional stories and the clear efforts to benefit Hillary Clinton."

Trump has repeatedly gone after the nine other women who have accused him of similar behavior since an audio tape surfaced of him talking in explicit terms about feeling entitled to kiss and grope women. These attacks have included calling the women liars and sometimes saying they were too unattractive for him to have made those advances.

At Wednesday night's debate, he responded to the claims, saying, “Nobody has more respect for women than I do. Those stories have been largely debunked. All fiction.”
