Queens Men Arrested Six Months After Far Rockaway Shooting: NYPD
Kevon Johnson, 26, and Michael Williams, 22, face murder charges after fatally shooting a 24-year-old man in Redfern Houses, police said.

QUEENS — Two men from Queens were arrested Wednesday after a man was shot dead in Far Rockaway in August, police said.
Kevon Johnson, 26, and Michael Williams, 22, face murder charges after fatally shooting a 24-year-old man in Redfern Houses, a New York City Housing Authority property, on August 15, the NYPD said.
The 24-year-old was shot in the head in front of 12-50 Redfern Avenue about 6:20 p.m., authorities said.

Amhad Peavy, a 22-year-old from Long Island, was also arrested for criminal possession of a weapon on Wednesday, police said.
