QUEENS, NY — A NYPD detective was cuffed and collared by his fellow boys in blue after he had assaulted his neighbor in Queens on Saturday, officials said.

Detective Dwayne James, 45, an 18-year NYPD veteran, was charged with assault and harassment, according to officials.

James, who was assigned to the Emergency Service Unit, was engaged in an off-duty argument with a neighbor when the assault happened, reported the Daily News.
