QUEENS, NY — A butt-grabbing man who assaulted women in Queens subway stations during July returned to grope again in a new borough last week, police said.

The subway groper slapped a 33-year-old woman's buttocks while she was on the R line platform Aug. 21 about 2 p.m. inside Brooklyn's Pacific Street subway station in Park Slope, NYPD officials said.

Police said the man ran off, but officers apparently uncovered surveillance footage — which they released late Tuesday — that tied him to two previous subway gropings in Queens.

The first groping attack unfolded July 18 when a man ran up behind a 38-year-old woman and grabbed her buttocks as she walked home near 63rd Road and 97th Street in Rego Park, police said.

The man ran off toward the M and R subway lines and boarded a train, authorities said.

The second Queens groping took place July 27, while a 45-year-old woman boarded a 7 train at Crescent Street and Queens Plaza South in Hunters Point, police said. Yet again, a man walked up from behind and grabbed her butt, authorities said.

He then stepped back onto the platform before the train's doors closed, police said.

The respective Queens incidents took place at 5:30 p.m. and 5:20 p.m., authorities said.
