Queens World Film Festival Begins Tomorrow At The Museum Of The Moving Image
More than 100 movies will be shown as part of the festival.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — The opening night of the seventh annual Queens World Film Festival will be held at the Museum of the Moving Image at 8 p.m. on Tueusday night and will feature a reception with special guests and five short films.
The festival will continue until March 19 and will include 135 movies from 24 countries.
Added to the festival this year is the Family Films category, which aims to introduce families to international cinema.

The festival will also include hosted screening events and numerous networking events. "The festival is programmed in thematic blocks with evocative titles, and each program is followed by a post-screening dialogue to engage audiences from the demographically diverse communities that comprise the borough of Queens," reads the festival website.
