Suspect Arrested For Fatal Stabbing Of Man In NYC Building: NYPD

What led up to the deadly stabbing is not known at this time.

QUEENS, NY — A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Queens over the weekend, police said.

Rosendo Lopez has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

Lopez is accused of stabbing Lidio Castro-Cruz, 46, in the chest inside 40-38 Case Street around 5:51 p.m. on Sunday, Patch previously reported.

The two were apparently neighbors in the same building, police said.

The 45-year-old was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.
