Woman Steals Straphanger's Credit Cards On 7 Train In Queens: NYPD

A 31-year-old woman was onboard a train near the 82nd Street station when a woman took her wallet on Sunday, police said.

QUEENS — A woman furtively stole a 31-year-old straphanger's wallet on a 7 train in Jackson Heights Sunday, police said.

The pickpocket stole the 31-year-old woman's wallet on a train near the 82nd Street station on April 23 about 2 p.m., the NYPD said.

The thief later took the woman's Bank of America credit card to a Jackson Heights variety store where she spent about $35, authorities said.

The pickpocket is in her late 20s, has long black hair, and was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket, cops said.
