Firefighters Knock Down 3-Car Garage Blaze: Officials

RIVERHEAD, NY — Firefighters knocked out a blaze at a three-car garage on Old Quogue Road Monday morning.

According to the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department, the fire broke out just after 6 a.m. "Our crew worked quickly to put a stop to the fire," officials said.

The RVFD gave "big thanks" to the Jamesport Fire Department for responding quickly to the scene at the rapid intervention team and to the Flanders Fire Department for standing by at the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department headquarters.
