Homeless Man Charged With Burglary in Riverhead Starbucks After Alarm Goes Off: Police
A Riverhead K-9 unit was used in the investigation, police said.

A homeless man was nabbed inside a Riverhead Starbucks after an alarm sounded early Monday morning, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, a call came in at 1:40 a.m. Monday regarding an activated commercial burglar alarm at Starbucks, located on Old Country Road in Riverhead.
Patrol officers and a Riverhead Police K-9 unit responded to the location; upon arrival, officers located Patrick DeGori, 56, inside of the building, police said.

He was placed under arrest and charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony, and transported to police headquarter, poiice said. The detective division was notified and responded to the scene.
