Incident Report: $15k in Coins Reported Stolen

Crimes and suspicious incidents recently reported to the Southampton Town Police Department:

• The owner of Rancho Latino on Flanders Road in Flanders reported that on March 30, a man punched and shattered the front window of his restaurant, valued at about $500. Police interviewed a witness and are investigating the crime as criminal mischief in the third degree.

• A Flanders man reported that someone stole $15,000 worth of coins from his home. According to police reports, the man said someone had been helping him clean the coins.

• A Flanders man reported that someone poured sugar into his fuel tank, causing $500 in damage. Police have no leads.
