Incident Reports: Bikes Stolen from Front Yards

Crimes and suspicious incidents recently reported to the Southampton Town Police Department:

Petty Larceny

• A Flanders resident told police on July 30 that someone stole a green and black child’s bike from her front yard on Fern Avenue. The bike is valued at $185.

• A Riverside resident called police on July 21 to report that a iPod was stolen out of his wife’s car, which was parked in their driveway on Woodhull Avenue. The iPod is valued at $150.

Petty Larceny

• A Flanders resident told police on July 30 that someone stole a green and black child’s bike from her front yard on Fern Avenue. The bike is valued at $185.

Burglary

• A Vail Avenue resident in Riverside told police on July 29 that someone tried to break into her house through a back door window by throwing a rock at it. The resident said she was asleep and was awoken to the sound of breaking glass. She called police, but they did not find anyone in the area.
