Intoxicated Man Ran Vehicle Off Road, On Grass Near Police Station: PD
He was arrested Sunday, police say.
NORTH FORK, NY — A Peconic man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday after he ran off the road near the Southold Town police station, authorities said.
According to Southold Town police, the incident happened at about 5:10 p.m. on Route 25 and Indian Neck Lane.
Beder Henry Morales Boyate, 28, was driving a gray 2004 Acura, bearing a Florida registration, westbound on State Route 25 and was seen by a police sergeant running his vehicle off the roadway and onto the grass near the sidewalk of the adjoining property to the east of the Southold Town Police Department, authorities said.

Morales Boyate was found to be intoxicated, arrested, and transported to the Southold Town Police Department for arrest processing; he was held overnight to await arraignment before the Southold Town Justice Court, police said.
