Man's Body Found By LI Homeowner Removing Pool Cover: PD

EAST SHOREHAM, NY — A Long Island homeowner removing a pool cover found a man's body Sunday, police said.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after the man was found deceased in a pool in East Shoreham at about 4:20 p.m. on May 25, authorities said.

An autopsy will be conducted by personnel from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity and cause of death of the victim.
