Reward Offered for Info on Stolen Staples Laptop

Suffolk County Police and Riverhead detectives are seeking a man who stole a laptop from Staples on Route 58 about six weeks ago.

He entered the store around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21. Police described the man as wearing a black cap with a white logo and a puffy jacket, who later stole an HP laptop from the store, which is located near the Roanoke Avenue traffic circle. 

Police are asking anyone with information about the event to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, and any information the leads to an arrest could offer a cash reward of up to $5,000.
