1. Riverhead Varsity Cheer Team shines on the road to finals, coming in first in a Section XI competition at Longwood High School. As we have reported earlier this month, the Riverhead Varsity Cheer Team is headed to the 2022 Universal Cheerleaders Association' national cheerleading championship in Florida next month. 2. Have you ever gazed up into the sky in hopes of catching the Milky Way? Well now you can add this fuzzy ball of four-legged love and affection to your household. 3. Cooperage Inn's pot pies were recently featured on Long Island's News 12. "When you think of take-out food, you may think about fast food, pizza and ice cream. But there's a restaurant in on the East End that is offering something a little more homey. The Cooperage Inn, in Baiting Hollow, has pot pies on the go." (News 12 Bronx)
4. Suffolk Theater is changing its dinner-and-a-show model and plans to promote local restaurants. New executive director Gary Hygom said, "In the future, the kitchen will be used to prepare small plates, appetizers and desserts, and we are also planning a supper club series which will pair curated meals with special performances."
