  1. Have you seen Angelica? She left her home on Lewis St. in Riverhead on Dec. 31 at 10 p.m. and has not been seen since. Angelica is known to frequent the Flanders area, police said. Anyone with information in regard to her location is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. All calls will be kept confidential. (Riverhead Patch)
  2. Help the Riverhead Varsity Cheer Team get to the Nationals. Your donation can help these determined teens to get to the 2022 Universal Cheerleaders Association's national cheerleading championship in Florida next month. According to a GoFundMe page, "Riverhead Cheer — Road to Nationals," created by parent Stephanie Tomko, the student athletes recently competed at a UCA regional event and, after years of hard work and dedication, placed second in their division. Riverhead Cheer Booster is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization. (Riverhead Patch)
  3. Missing teens Elizabeth Depascale, 16, and Myasia Barker, 14, left the Little Flower Children's Services facility, in Wading River in the early morning hours Saturday on foot and without permission. Though no foul play is suspected, the Police are asking the public to help find the teens. Anyone with information on the girls' location is asked to contact Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500.   4. Volunteers needed for temporary homes for future guide and service dogs. The Guide Dog Foundation and America’s VetDogs, is in urgent need for volunteer temporary homes across Long Island and the New York Tri-state area. Temporary homes provide a puppy/mature dog a safe and friendly home with a loving environment where a puppy will learn, or an adult dog will maintain, housebreaking, obedience, excellent house manners, and socialization.
