Here are the top stories today in Riverhead:
- Two teens are once again missing from the Little Flower Children’s Services in Wading River. Kiaralyn Delgado, 16, and Autumn Tucker, 14, left the Little Flower campus together on Friday, Jan. 7 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Kiaralyn Delgado and Autumn Tucker is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. All calls will remain confidential. (Riverhead Patch)
- Three men stole $1,500 worth of roofing shingles from the Riverhead Home Depot last year. In a Jan. 7 press release the police said the men stole 28 packages of roofing shingles, from the Home Depot on Route 58 on Oct. 16 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Police released surveillance camera images of the suspects. Anyone with information please call 1-800-220-TIPS, utilizing a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential. Cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. (Riverhead Patch)
- The Stony Brook Department of Art’s visual arts program recently partnered with the Long Island Explorium to present a , “A Visual Dialogue on Environmental Issues.” It demonstrates discourse on environmental challenges that affect our most vulnerable citizens and communities.
