1. Peconic Bay Medical Center has expanded! PBMC added another operating room, making that the seventh, and purchased a new da Vinci XI robotic surgical system to help expand minimally invasive surgical procedures. The da Vinci Surgical System not only translates the surgeon’s hand movements in real-time, it also gives doctors access to 3D, high-definition views of the surgical area magnified 10 times the human eye! 2. An "erratic" Medford driver was arrested in Riverhead early Saturday after he ran a red light, refused to stop for authorities, and crashed into a truck, police said. (Riverhead Patch)
3. The Stony Brook Food Business Incubator at Calverton, offers workspaces to entrepreneurs. As more businesses are beginning to reopen, the incubator is expected to host events in the coming months and is in talks with SUNY/Stony Brook about an open house event in June and a weekly farmers market throughout the summer at the Calverton site.
