The East End Food Institute will be joined by the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce on Friday at 3 p.m. to mark the opening of the East End Food Market at 139 Main Road in Riverhead — the longtime home of the now-shuttered Homeside Florist and Greenhouses. 2. Suffolk Theater Announces All New Shows For January. Shows feature a wide range of artists from one of the most awarded musicians in the Blues genre all the way to the pioneers of Country/Rock. 3. Legislator Anker Honors Shoreham Resident Maurice Lohman On His 100th Birthday. Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker presented Lohman with a proclamation to thank him for his lifelong contributions to his community and to the country as a military veteran. “I want to wish Morry a very happy 100th birthday,” said Legislator Anker. “Morry has dedicated his life to not only serving our country, but also to improving and expanding education in our state.
