  1. Northwell Health rolls out more drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites, there is a new site in Riverhead, plus existing sites in New Hyde Park and Bohemia. The medical director for Northwell Health’s COVID-19 vaccine program stated that we need to leave the emergency department and urgent care centers for those who need to seek medical care. (CBS2 News)
  2. A Shirley man, Branzel Bonner Jr., was found shot to death in a wooded area in Coram on Dec. 2; a Riverhead couple was arrested and charged in his shooting death. Marcus Reid, 23, was arrested on Dec. 13 and Monique Brown, 28, was arrested on Dec. 28 and both were charged with second-degree murder. (Riverhead Patch)
  3. Autumn Tucker left the Little Flower campus at 2450 North Wading River Road without permission and was reportedly picked up by a gold Lexus four-door sedan, NY registration HGH8701. Autumn was described by police as an American Indian female, 14, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 235 pounds, with a light complexion, brown eyes, and black and purple short curly hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black long-sleeved shirt with butterflies on it, dark gray legging-type pants, yellow and brown framed eyeglasses, nose ring piercing and gold necklace.
