- According to the Riverhead police report for December 2021, 30 people were arraigned for their crimes in December and the town issued 294 summonses (73 parking tickets). There were two juveniles arrested in December. (RiverheadLOCAL)
- Gracelynn Perkowski, the 4-year-old girl critically injured in a Flanders crash on Thursday, died Sunday, police said. Her mother was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, police said. New York State Police are asking anyone with information to call 631-756-3300. (Patch)
