2 Teens Hospitalized After Unsupervised Party

Two Hastings-on-Hudson 15-year-old girls, who are believed to have attended the same unsupervised party, were hospitalized for alcohol poisoning on Feb. 21.
A 17-year-old female called 911 near Edgars Lane around 11:25 p.m. to report that her friend passed out after consuming alcohol and coming home from a party on Zinsser Way in Hastings-on-Hudson. The 15-year-old’s parents arrived to the scene and accompanied the teen to the hospital.

Around 11:50 p.m. police received a called from another teen, who lives on Warburton Avenue, saying that her 15-year-old friend was choking and vomiting after consuming alcohol. The 15-year-old’s parents were called and she was taken to the Dobbs Ferry Hospital.
Police arrived at the Zinsser Way home and found a 15-year-old, whose parents were out of town, hosting a party. No alcohol was found at the scene and several teens at the party were sent home with their parents. The 15-year-old host stayed at a friend’s house at the request of the host’s parents.
