3 Arrested with Marijuana in Irvington

The two 17-year-old and 18-year-old were charged with violations.

Three were arrested with pot in Irvington after a police officer smelled the burning plant when he drove by a car the trio was sitting in.

Police found the suspects—a 17-year-old from Briarcliff, a 17-year-pld from Bronxville and an 18-year-old from Monroe—in the 2011 KIA, which was parked in a cul de sac on Havemeyer Road around 5:17 p.m.

After the officer caught a whiff, the teens were charged unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, for having a few bags of marijuana and a bong. They were released to their parents and the car was impounded.

They are scheduled to appear in court on April 22.
