Detectives collected surveillance video and witness accounts, which confirmed that two men became involved in an argument at a nearby office building. The argument then continued outside, when one man displayed a firearm and fired around three gunshots toward the other man, before fleeing the area, according to YPD.

After canvassing the area, units found their shooting suspect nearby, on Executive Boulevard. Police identified the suspect as 34-year-old James Morris, of Yonkers. He was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
