Argument With Bus Driver Ends in Criminal Mischief Charge

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Yonkers teen, a day student at St. Christopher’s school, boarded the bus in front of Cabrini Nursing Home on Broadway on Sept. 12 around 2:30 p.m. He allegedly began disputing with the bus driver, who is accused of insulting him the day before, as soon as he boarded the bus.

After the 17-year-old allegedly broke the mirror, the bus driver immediately pulled over just past the Hastings-on-Hudson boarder and let him out.

Police found the Yonkers resident at St. Christopher’s while he was getting his hand bandaged. The 39-year-old driver was not injured.
