Brutal Kidnapping Began In Westchester Before Heading To Dutchess County Cigar Shop: NYSP
State police report finding a man with facial injuries and his hands zip-tied, along with three men claiming to be shop employees.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A disagreement that started in Yonkers ended in a desperate 911 call 60 miles away, according to state troopers.
New York State Police say that on Thursday, around 2:35 a.m., troopers from the Poughkeepsie barracks were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to The Ambassador Cigar Shop, located on State Route 55 in the town of LaGrange, after reports of a disturbance.
Once on the scene, troopers found a 31-year-old man with facial injuries and his hands restrained with zip ties. There were also three men who claimed to be employees of the smoke shop.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation determined that all four men knew one another before the incident. State police say that the altercation reportedly began earlier in Yonkers and escalated before continuing at the LaGrange smoke shop.
NYSP say that 20-year-old Jamal Maher, of Highland; 21-year-old Mahamed Ali, of Yonkers; and 20-year-old Tareq Ali, of Yonkers, were all arrested and charged with felony second-degree kidnapping, felony fourth-degree conspiracy, felony first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and misdemeanor third-degree assault.

All three were arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $250,000 cash, $500,000 bond, or a $1.5 million partially secured bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 29
