Burglar Alarm Set Off at Irvington HS

Irvington Police responded to a burglar alarm that was set off around 1:08 a.m. on Dec. 6. When police arrived they found a door to the building was unsecured and a custodian who was in the process of responding to the alarm.
The custodian said he encountered a white male 5’7’’of average build and brown hair, between 15 to 18 years of age and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red, orange and yellow pattern that ran past him from the theatre building.
Irvington Police enlisted the help of the Dobbs Ferry and Tarrytown Police Departments, as well as the MTA Police who had its K-9 units on the case.

Law enforcements officials were unable to locate the teen Thursday, but are currently investigating the incident and determining whether or not any school property was damaged or stolen.
