Burglar Steals Laptop, Leaves Other Valuables

A East Home Place resident said his Irvington home was broken into on Jan. 31

A resident of East Home Place reported on Jan. 31 at 3:30 p.m. that a laptop had been stolen from his home earlier that day. The home had been entered through an unlocked door between 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

A laptop worth $750 was stolen—while other valuables, like jewelry, were left behind. Drawers and a keep safe box were rifled through in a room separate from where the laptop was.

The break-in is currently under investigation.
