Cigarettes Sold to Minor, Identify Theft

  • The Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested a 19-year-old gas station clerk on Nov. 29 after the Scarsdale resident allegedly sold cigarettes to a 17-year-old female. He was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, which is a class B misdemeanor. He is expected to return back to court on Dec. 6.
  • A 43-year-old Dobbs Ferry man reported on Nov. 28 that $9,248 worth of fraudulent charges were made on his ATM card. The charges were from Juarez and Cancun Mexico, and the crime would constitute identify theft in the first degree, which is a class D felony.
