Cold Cut Thief Gets Petit Larceny Charge

An employee of in Dobbs Ferry began closely watching a 50-year-old Dobbs Ferry woman who was acting suspicious and wandering around the store on the Aug. 27.
Employees observed her stealing about $17 in assorted cold cuts and confronted the woman. She was held by store associates until police arrested her for petit larceny, an A misdemeanor. She was released without bail and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
